Important Information Regarding Your Bridal Appointment
Are children allowed at my appointment?
We love children and as a mother I understand that children take a lot of attention and extra care. Our store is set up with many glass displays and many racks full of delicate dresses. What sets Margaret Ellen Bridal apart from others is the experience provided to the bride. To allow the brides our full attention, we kindly ask that you not bring small children. We typically have two appointments running at the same time. Though the brides and their families usually never cross paths, we do have to keep in mind that children can sometimes cause a distraction for other brides and their groups.
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
We recommend bringing what you plan to wear under your dress and suggest wearing neutral or nude undergarments. Most of our gowns do have built in pads so there is no need to worry about a bra. If you want to be covered during your appointment, we recommend wearing petals/nipple covers. No shoes? No problem! You do not need to bring in shoes for your appointment. We do recommend knowing the type of shoe or heel height you will wear on the wedding day if you are under 5’3” or over 5’9”.
Payment
Tips
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards. We do ask that full payment is made at the time you say YES to your dress. However, we can arrange for a payment plan to be created if needed. Please inquire for further details.
Over the years we have had many brides ask to tip their bridal stylist. For this reason, there will be an option to leave your stylist a tip via credit/debit card. Please know that while tips are appreciated, they are never expected.
